This one's about the rest-stop, by the pond...
Requested for the structure, which is built in the Frank Lloyd Wright "Prairie" style

very rhythmic flow of design. superb capture
Rhythmic, yes, that's a good word for it. I didn't know it was "prairie style", and where are the buffalo? I love the slight vertical rises and long horizontal lines. Something about this reminds me of Coyote and Roadrunner... Great composition/POV!
I am kind of mesmerized by the verticals and horizontals in this image. The relatively wispy verticals and the very strong horizontals. And then there are these two huge uprights. And of course there are those reflections.

Frank Lloyd Wright is the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this. But this photo is all about the light - those diagonal swaths of light exposing the grid patterns in those structures (doors? gates?), the reflections that form a kind of upside down skyline in the water & the overall rhythm of darks & lights, which are balanced perfectly...
Okay, yup ... what Claude said. Can I just do that, and not find another way to say it? You know this is one of my favorite places I've never been to, right? It's wonderful!
The composition, geometry, juxtaposition of vertical and horizontal lines are very impressive, and the contrasts and reflections in the water provide the perfect complement to this image. It does look so much like Wright's architecture. Very nicely done.
After all the wonderful comments above...let me just relax and murmur, ahhhhhhh. Prairie style says it all...composed and captured just right or should I say, Wright? :-)

whoa, what pretty lighting in this shot. the textures and lines are wonderful! this is simply a pleasant photo to look at. nice work!
Oh my, here I don't have enough eyes to take it all in me. It is such a plurality of surprising turns of lines, and also for following the light, the reflections, textures, colors, the many accents; actually, this picture may be divided into several parts. Then, all that series would have something of a breathtaking picture. So this is only because of the complexity, as a treasure that you have found, something very special. And now I'm (still )speechless. ;-)
