Description
Captured 6/28/13, early am, somewhere around the neighborhood.
Original on top.
In the bottom variation, I came about as close to anahata.c's Chinese grinding ink sticks as I had time for.
Ciao.

Very good POV and patterns.
Fantastic manipulation and results my friend !!!
Wow Harry, that bottom variation really does look like a series of Chinese ink sticks---or maybe one really big one. it's like you lined up a thousand sticks in a geometric display. Thank you for the mention, Harry, I'm flattered I got into one of your many creative montages.
The original is one of your rigorous pattern captures, and I esp like how it angles off in the distance---something that takes a few views to notice, and it's a delightful surprise. 2 looks like what we photographers call "chromatic aberration," where you get those ghost lines in foreign colors that stick to everything. It makes you rub your eyes wondering if you're seeing double. Kind of an optical illusion. 3 and 4 are deep colored versions, 3 being a deep tan/toffee hue (very enticing), and 4 being slate-chocolate. (There's no such color as "slate chocolate," ok? I made that up. But it's not pure chocolate, it's got some matte under-hue that I really like.) And 5 is khaki, with everything laid back--but the links on the fence. It's like a massive data sheet. (Or ink sticks lined up at attention.) More romping explorations from you, of the geometry that confronts us everywhere; you're always exploring the language of everything you see; and your original has more dimensions to it than meets the eye, it reaches way back and it has quite a sweep. Thanks for the mention, Harry; and another fine montage from you!
Wow! This one really has a lot in it; and the last one, the ink sticks? I see little spikes coming out of a mattress, a fakir's milieu...wow, well done Harry!
What varied and completely different looks you achieved with your postwork, Harry! Well done!
