I know those diffused, haloed, fog shrouded lights. And the shadowy tall buildings in the center background. This is what I was seeing before having cataract surgery:-) I don't know what time of the year you took this but from the lush, "new green" color of the trees, ivy and shrubbery I'd guess springtime. The gal on the motor scooter really balances the composition for me. The big stretch of blank curb says to me it is early in the morning. A perfect time for tackling a fog assignment. Well done...I don't think I have a fog shot anywhere in my files. Another challenge for the future.

A nice sharp composition in this rather dusk-like shot of the lovely lamp light just taking effect in this amazing capture of a Chicago street practically devoid of cars, Mark. Only the individual on the motor scooter dominates street. And, I love the stellar POV, contrast and mistiness of the scene. Plus, that is one wide frame you have there.

My favourite black iron railings are beautiful counterpoints to this misty fog shrouding your buildings. A lovely image beautifully taken!

Well, I certainly noticed the fog in this shot. I love the glow of those lamps as they recede into the distance & the way you caught the motor scooter rider just before she sped out of the frame. Very atmospheric, moody shot...
