Description
We saw these two characters dressed as monks every time we passed through Old Town Square in Prague. They maintained this position for hours, with only slight facial movements. The illusion is a very convincing one - how do they do it? I have my own theory, but does anyone else have an explanation?
By the way, the segways you can see in the background were all over Prague - seems like this has become a popular way to tour the city...

the only thing I can figure is there's some shaft up the upper guy's arm that's attached to a body frame of some sort...but however they do it, man, this is a street shot, Claude! Terrific capture upfront, backed by blazing light on the facades, and lots of interested passersby, and lots of others doing their thing incl riding all those segways. The kind of wile street shot that gets into magazines. Vivid, bright eye popping stuff!

Superb photo with the two in the foreground, the architecture in the background and the many people in the square. A very interesting scene. I think the two are working with a trick, there are any hidden metal racks or similar in the costumes. They make that very convincing.

It doesn't work without the robes! They're the last thing to go on, and they cover the frame. It's still an eye-catching trick, even knowing how it's done! Thanks for showing us these two!
