And this is the view of the "ghost farm" to the opposite of my last posting. I've never seen a glacier so close to the road.
Bøyabreen is a glacier arm of the Jostedalsbreen or Jostedal Glacier, the biggest glacier in continental Europe.
Jostedalsbreen has a total area of over 480 km² and has a length of a little more than 60 km and covers almost half of the national park.
The thickest part of the glacier is 600 meters.
