Description
Bill and I have had a lovely time with Maria (CavalierLady) this week! We had lunch yesterday, and then had a nice long visit into the evening. Today we got together around noon and went out to her favorite bird-watching lake, drove around the countryside a bit, and had dinner at this great little BBQ place. We leave in the morning, and were sorry to say goodbye to her tonight! Maria is every bit as lovely and fun and talented as you think she is. :)
Maria let Bill and I borrow her big lens, and we had fun playing around with it. Bill got better pictures than I did, but that shouldn't surprise you. He's all about things that fly, and I'm all about things that hold still. :P
We had a wonderful day. The weather was beautiful, we talked and played and took pictures and went wherever we felt like going, and it was good.

As impressive as you made it, and show it to us, dear Tara. A wonderful cartoon with very special people, and also a great pair of beasts; well, one a little larger than the other, but it is not insurmountable, right? What a cheerful message this is, Tara, when I read it, I feel your enthusiasm and the joy in it resound, of that wonderful days together with Maria.

Its fun to be a kid, isn't it? Looks like the cow was running cover for the heron. No surprise, birds and cows usually get along well together. A humorous little tale and well done.

Funny how there just happens to be a cow in front of the bird. Since you like stuff that stays in one place and all, that's all I'm saying...Looks like a great time for all involved!
oh, love that bird behind the cow! You had to be pretty fast on your feet to get that! Great way to end the story---hey, you have a mini comic strip here! A little Rods-ville goin' on...Delightful, like a story we'd do in Show and Tell. I'm not surprised Maria is the way you say she is, she has that very presence in her gallery and comments. (I'm going to comment on her upload of you and bill---it's delightful.) (Anything from bill coming? I get the sense that he's kind of like a buddha who sits in silence for long periods, and then comes out to speak...and there's a hush when he emerges, people whisper, "he's coming...he's coming..." Does he say "verily" a lot? Does he 'waft'?) I wish I could see Maria's face, but it's a sweet shot. And another sweet shot of Bill, with a big bushy beard. A very sweet photo, in the right font too. You guys have wonderful visits throughout your trips. Your lives are terrific.
