Great scujlpture and fantastic place !!!
I think I posted a view of the statue last June or July. I will check my files to see if I have another one to post
Beautiful clear sharp image Jeff! I got a similar shot years ago: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/crazy-horse/1035709/
A great shot of the Crazy Horse carving. This was two years ago: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/crazy-horse-a-work-in-progress/2471130/
Doesn't look like there's a lot of difference.. We drove by there when we were in SD a couple weeks ago, and it looks pretty much the same. I didn't get any photos of it this trip - it was rainy, foggy, and cold that day :-(
Nice half sculpture and a really fine shot too :)
Nice sharp shot ,Looks finished to me.
Cha-O-Ha (In the Trees) is probably the greatest Lakota hero in history. A superb warrior and tactician, the mistake he made was in trusting General Crook who convinced him to surrender. He was eventually assassinated by the U.S. military. This is a terrific capture of the model with the full size sculpture in the background. You can find a web cam page that shows the progress every 24 hours here:

It looks like it will be gorgeous when finished; a lovely shot!
Stunning capture my friend. God bless.
What a project!
