Fine work.
Scarves are always very interesting. I should do that too :) I have pretty many of them :)
Very colorful and a much better way of hanging scarves than mine which usually involves a piece of exercise equipment. I like the idea of wooden rings.
Like the colours Andrea.
I like them both, because they feed my obsession with fabric. I'd get bored in a camera shop or looking at art supplies far, far sooner than I would get tired of being in a fabric store. It must be a lifetime of ... well, I'm just obsessed. That's all there is to it. LOL!
WOW, you have got a lot of lovely scarves.
Both excellent...I vote for this one. Colorful, bright, imaginative and with no distractions.
Both pics. are wonderful displays of your gorgeous collection Andrea !
and with your postwork - give a superb still-life!
Superb capture and post work Andrea. God bless.
I like both shots! Nice postwork and such pretty and colorful scarves!
Nice bright shot.
What a brilliant study! Have you ever noticed how many really cool things there are to shoot in your own spot if you only do little pieces of them? A person could make a career of just that...this is wonderful!
For my first day back, I'm only doing 1 comment per gallery, just to get my fingers wet. But I'll be back for a longer session soon. Why did I choose this for my 1st piece? Because it has an 'andrea' feel to it...and it's scarves! (I have lots of them.) In zoom, we can see the textures of your postwork---a kind of grainy feel, and the feeling as if you textured the whole with a palette knife. The ceiling is almost cavernous. And the stand just cascades with your scarves---which I love. I can't tell, from the postwork, what the fabrics are, but some look knit, for sure. The mostly black and white fabric (or heavily 'tonal' fabric) on the left makes fine contrast with the rest; and I love those patterned flowers, at that size. And the very pink-ish scarf (or scarves) on the right is beautiful contrast for the left. And you have something in the center-top---I can't tell if that's a scarf or socks or what: But it's a terrific topping to the bunch; and the postwork makes it look like a topographical map. A wonderful array. And, since I posted some scarves a few months back, It's great that you have too. (Those scarf rings? Those are so much better than hangers! I have mine on hangers---well, some need to hang flat, but rings are so much nicer overall.) A wonderful pile-up of a shot, ad another cool piece from your seemingly vast home...I'll be back for more soon...
