Description
Seen at the lake the other day. For some reason, (or a macro lens with no I.S.)
...it's taken me ages to get a decent shot of these creatures.
Thanks very much for your views and comments.

beautifully done
Stunning capture! What gorgeous colours!
This shot is perfection at its best - love it.
Excellent! This is where my one hander point and shoot comes into its own, brilliant for macro. I don't even need to look in the screen.
Fantastic shot. Love the colors. They never sit more than one second in one place.
I love seeing damsel flies and dragonflies. this one is an absolute beauty and superb macro. (in Nevada on I15 close to CA there is the original Bonnie and Clyde car. at least they claim it
Love the creative dof ... SO well done!
Cool capture of the damselfly in distress, Maria. Love those veined wings. But what does that have to do with a Bonnie and Clyde car in Nevada?
What a beautiful little creature! Gorgeous colour and detail!
Amazing capture Maria. God bless.
Great image
so luminous ! Nice model too !
What a wonderful close up of this lovely colored Damselfly. Love the eyes so shining :)
Beautiful capture Maria. If i want to make a shot like this, i prefer the continuous shooting mode of the camera (4 shots are automatically combined). This has often proved very useful.
Mighty fine...I don't even see these guys, let alone get a chance to photograph them:)
fantastic macro....
Wonderful dragonfly !
