Great closeup and I think you chose the perfect postwork here!
Very cool !!!!
Love the patterns on these Andrea.
Outstanding capture and post work Andrea. God bless.
Super shot and postwork. Reminds me of the song from Sweeden about "golden shoes" in a Melody Festival 1984. See it HERE
Hilarious link!
Very nice capture Andrea.
Fabulous!
At first sight I thought they were bronzed. Nice detail and lovely gold plated look.
Very snazzy!!!
Those are quite posh for boots! What sort of glitter do you wear with them?
Oooohh! Snazzy, indeed! I like these. If you find them missing, I might have nicked them for Bill's daughter. She really knows how to rock a pair of boots. :)
cool capture
Great photo shots and post work with your cool walking boots Andrea !
You have reminded me I need to get some new work boots before I ruin my walking shoes.
time for another session in your gallery. And this won't be the last, in the coming week or two...I love this shot, as I love the boots. And I love your postwork too---though, the patterns could be in the boots themselves, given the sheen and its way with light and shadow. But I'd recognize your geological postwork a mile away. The closeup brings us right into the boots. And brings out how strange shoes and boots really are. (They really are. Shoes are some of the strangest visual objects we wear.) I love the different' patches---I assume that's leather? Or is it synthetic? Whatever it is, the pieces are patched together, and make a big leather quilt. (I assume you've seen shoes with one continuous piece of leather, right? I assume they make them for women. They do for men, but they're rare. Ok, here's a link---I looked it up: Unfortunately, the pic is too small, but still: http://reviews.allenedmonds.com/7512-en_us/SF2962/hanover-oxfords-reviews/reviews.htm.) (Ie, but for the tongue, it's one piece of leather.) Well my POINT is, the segments in your shot make for a big leather patchwork, and with your swirling postwork, it's a mini mountainous landscape. Love the lighting and the surrounding dark too.
And isn't it a pain that most leathers just don't handle rain well? You want to wear them, but if it rains, you gotta run inside, unless you're looking to "distress" the leather on your own. Love the boots, love the image you made out of them.
