Description
One of the very few fungi on the treetrunk, I found in the forest a month ago... I must admit I mistaked the month.. They were here in this month, but I had no opportunity to go to the the same forest again. But I got a few shrooms from this area.
Wish you all a lovely day.
Its cold 9C and grey. Light wind only. That is always something.
Thank you for viewing and sommenting :-)

Fantastic old tree and very great capture also !!!
How very unusual. I have never seen a tree trunk like this. Well seen and captured, Helle!
They will last for years even if the tree falls! It is doomed for sure.
A great find and shot Helle.
Stunning capture Helle. God bless.

They look like steps put there so you can climb the tree. I like the arm and hand on the right-hand trunk, palm down and denying passage. Very cool!
It looks like someone has thoughtfully installed steps to make it easier to climb up this trunk! What a cool find!
Ditto MrsRatbag on this amazing tree trunk! And the sawed off branches at the top are significantly gothic, Helle. Great shot of this fascinating subject. And send some of your cold 9 Celsius my way.
cool shot of this
