Description
Randers Rainforrest 2
Goeldi's Marmoset (Gallimico Goeldi):
This South American monkey roamed free among visitors in the big South America dome. It is only 20 - 23 centimeters long ( 10 - 12 inches). In the wild they live in small family groups.
In captivity they live to the age of ten years or a little more. Like many more monkeys they are among the endangered species in Southamerica.

Adorable! I recently attended the ceremonial opening of a new marmoset house at Monkey World Dorset. It is to accommodate the increasing numbers of these little creatures being rescued from the awful cruelty they suffer when kept in tiny cages in people's homes .
Wow, a really cool inhabitant. This character looks like one that lives for mischief. Watch your purses Ladies. I am guessing it is a pick pocket extraordinary.
