Description
This is the same dragonfly as my upload on the 29th September, here the wings are open,
and I love what came out even more then the one before.
Same info: it's rather little, about 5 centimetre; and because of the colour I know it's a female, the male has a red colour.
Its name is: The ruddy darter (Sympetrum sanguineum), it's an European species of dragonfly, of the family Libellulidae.
The point is, as a distraction I often search around with my camera, and take as many pictures that I haven't got a fourth ever seen on my pc. ;-)
I'm a "photo-freak". But anyway, I love to be outside, and this weekend we worked hard in our (somewhat too wild) garden.
Love to you all.

Spectacular capture my friend !!!
Stunning closeup! I had to use a zoom lens the other day as the large ones wouldn't let me near them. Great macro, Jacomina!
Breathtaking closeup! Wow!
That's just the best pose, and you're a master at this sort of shot. Beautiful image!
I love the wings' pattern! From dragonflies point of view she is a beauty! In fact, is an amazing creature! Well done, Jacomina!
