Captured this tender moment with my pocket Fuji. I am thinking of unloading my SLR and all lenses. Leaning towards micro 4/3 Traveling with a large camera and lenses is no longer an option for me. Time for a change I think.

Absolutely delightful. Also think you are onto something when it comes to traveling...not taking a DSLR. I love my heavy Canon 5D Mark III but don't think I want to risk lugging it around Europe when we make future trips there.

I stopped using my heavy gear a couple of years ago and bought a Bridge camera and it does most of what I could do with all the other kit.

I know how you feel about hauling around all that heavy kit. After having gone bigger and bigger and now having exactly what I want, I suppose they'll be giving me all the things I want in a smaller and smaller package! LOL! I can't imagine taking the 70D on a European trip. It's one of the things we'll have to consider when we're planning.
