This is just a stitch of 2 images taken from my hotel room in New York showing some mid-town high risers panning towards the west showing the Hudson River and New Jersey on the opposite shore.

I am so far out of touch with NYC's skyline...you must be way downtown...but where? I know we are seeing the East Side of Manhattan. Great view and a fascinating pano for me. Thanks for the look-around:)
Bill - this was taken from the Intercontinental on the corner of 44th Street and 8th Avenue - so pretty much midtown - just one avenue off Times Square. I'm looking towards the north with the Hudson on the West side.
I like this very much.
So interesting, and I can see out in this shot so don't feel so trapped!
A spectacular image Carin.
Really wonderful view, so much to see! You did a great pano!
Nice. I'll be heading over early next year and can't wait to see One World Trade Center. Andrew
Talk about a room with a view! Terrific shot of a city I've never visited, Carin. Zoom view is stellar!

Excellent stitch job on this vast urban metropolis, Carin. Love the clarity, color, detail, and depth of the city below and the sky above.
Wondeful landscape !
WOW What a big and clear capture. Hope all have seen it is ultra full size, as here you see every little detail. I am almost there. :)

Superb in zoom, love this skyline. xx
Outstanding shot. I particularly like those magnificent clouds & their reflection on that building on the right...
