for the background I used one of my Apophysis pics, frame made with FilterForge.
For the title I googled the english name of this green tree snake I had in mind, and found that it's named Boomslang! Isn't that a Dutch word actually?

perfect title, actually, what with all the slink and sensual undulation... extremely serpentine, yet slightly tinged with alienesque aspects. such a treat the way the piece dances & partners with the viewer's eyes...

Cool serpentine Fractal Sue, excellent. They have this Green Snake in Ghana, I'm thinking it was the Green Mamba but not positive it was the Mamba, that liked to climb Coconut Trees and drop on unaware passers by....Coconut Trees were dangerous enough with Coconuts falling all the time but snakes too, we were always nervous in the Coconut Groves
