Bombs away on dr_bernie! I bet he's jealous, cowering in his little boom-boom shelter! My brother got one of these for his birthday some 50 years ago. It never got painted - he was in such a rush to put it together. Now I get to see it nicely painted. Good job! I'm impressed with the painting on the metal supports for the windows (I never could get them right). Nice work with the decals, too. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next post! :-)
Hallo man, There is an easy trick to get the metal supports on the windows right. When you are ready and painted them with acrylic paint, you take a wooden toothpick. Make the tip sharp with an Olfa cutter (knive) Then rub with the tip along the lines to remove the superfluous paint.outside the supports. Good luck and thank you, salute Gerrit.

My grandfather was flying this plane when it went down in the Philippines in Jan 1945, it's nice to see a little remembrance of him.
