Er bringt ihr ein Ständchen und dem Hahn gefällts auch. Super Zusammenstellung, ein klasse Bild.
More of your wonderful humor, mixed with your fine artistic sense. The background is very Japanese, with those typical Japanese architectural structures---typically 'classical' Japanese, I should say. And you have the strict angled lines of many Japanese prints too. But you have those 2 wonderful people in it, one sitting and the other playing. The man has the features of a Mexican Mariachi Band musician---I love his expression. Only, he's playing a Japanese instrument. (A shamisen?) And you contrast the two people with greens and olive tans (on the man) with rich reds (on the woman).
And you add a very Japanese sky---the kinds of morphing rich blues found in Japanese prints. And then that flying ship! Something out of a 19th C "futuristic" novel. And a big bold rooster too. Wonderfully playful, playing with traditional Japanese imagery, and mixing it with music and love-courting. Wonderful work once more, Ute. I'll be back for more when I return; and one day I'll do a dedi for you (as you so kindly did for me). I just need time for dedis right now---but I haven't forgotten...
What a cute couple in this fun and amusing scene Ute.
