Description
Our loving and faithful dog Mandy departed this life today. She had a great run of seventeen years and one day.
This is her latest picture taken Sunday under Trent's rather famous Baby Grand piano.
Photo quality is not grand but my IPhone had to do in a pinch.
We'll miss her mightily. But we'll recover.

I am so sorry to see this. I'm going to miss seeing her when I visit. Her nightly visits were a joy. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I would reach out and give her a scratch before dozing back off. I felt very privileged to have such a sweet guardian watching over my sleep. She could not have been more fortunate in her choice of people to live with. She got to experience a lot in your travels and all at a pace she could enjoy in her later years. She always seemed very happy with her lot. I am sorry for your loss. She was a real sweetie.
Goodbye to a very lucky and much loved lady. What a great age she reached, and with such dignity with the aid of her stroller!
This is a fascinating photo, with your reflection mysterious in the black.
RIP Mandy.
My condolences to you and Tara Bill.
I've very sorry to hear that Bill. Sincere condolences to you both.

Ohh! I am sorry to read that, Bill. She always looked so cute and sweet. She was lucky to have you and she had a long sweet life all the way. No, she will never be forgotten.
Such a sweet and lovely lady!
My thoughts and prayers for you and Tara.
Oh, Bill, I am so sorry! Seventeen years makes the heartache even greater. Mandy was very lucky to be owned and loved by the both of you. She lived the very best that life had to offer. My sincerest condolences to both you and Tara. RIP dear Mandy.
A hard decision to let her go; she was loved and will be missed greatly.
Sorry to hear about this, Bill. A very unusual shot - looks kind of like a montage of three photos...
So sorry to hear about Mandy. She had a wonderful life, much travelled little lady. She will be missed by you, Tara & the family. xxxx
My condolences to both you and Tara.

She was a sweet little lady, and she had a long life filled with love. She will live in your hearts and memories until you meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. You and Tara are in our thoughts and prayers, Bill.
I'm so glad to have had the chance to meet her :-)
She had a great time that day, napping under the piano, under the end table, on the couch. I love the way this shot came out, with you reflected in the side of the famous piano.
Everything else I could say I've already said in person. :X
bill, my comment in tara's gallery was for both of you...for some reason her image came up first in my listings...but this is another beautiful shot of Mandy, just being Mandy, and near that glorious piano that has become famous here on RR. I know she went back in your life to her beginnings; and through so much change in your life, incl watching your family grow, loss, finding Tara, moving and marrying, and seeing places all over this huge country. So I know this has to hit very deep inside you. Great dogs are great gifts, and I wish you blessings and light as you carry her presence inside of you and tara, and watch her live on as a glow...many blessings to you both again, she was a very dear soul and boy did she have a marvelous and gifted life...
too bad about your loss. I bet you will have many fond memories of her
I had a dog that I never liked but when she was gone I missed her . she was with me for 12 years living a total of 16 years
my family had a dog that lived 18 years and across the street another family had one that lived 20 years
Seventeen is very old for a dog but it reflects the love and care you and Tara gave her. She had her looks even at the end, such a cute girl. I am very sorry for your loss.
