Description
This is the so called Gatekeeper butterfly, apparently often seen around gateways in hedgerows. Here you see it in our garden on a Mallow flower.

Such a gorgeous Macro. I love the angle of the butterfly.
A lovely shot in excellent quality Jeff. Wonderful colours and light!
A superb close up! Brilliant colors and the POV is rare in my experience. Excellent clarity. I noticed you have identified this as 'Photography' and 'Manga'. Manga?

Nice shot Jeff they don't just hang around gates but seem to like conservatories I've rescued dozens over the summer but they seem to have gone away now.
