You saw the light, Harry :) Beautiful capture !!
Terrific POV and Shadow!!!!
Striking light/shadow delineation in this early morning capture; what an odd sort of setup, it has quite a Mediterranean feel to it. Well done, Harry!
wonderful game between lights and shadows ! excellent photograph !!!
I'm in your more recent uploads today, to pay homage to your recent work: This is a beauty. Wonderful pov, wonderful choice of "place to shoot, the dark in the shaded area is rich and deep, while the light pouring-in is stark and dramatic. You got angles on the stone ledge on the right and the wall at the top, giving great 'music' to the shaded space. Such fascinating layout and detail.
The opening to the street is wonderful, and I really like how you cut it off halfway, so we only get a piece of it. The shot's really about the shadowed 'cavern' from whence we look out...yet that makes the opening to the street all the more dramatic. A wonderful evocation of what the painter, de Chirico, called "the mystery and melancholy of a street". And you caught fine detail on the sidewalk too. Terrific shot Harry. A real find.
