Description
There is a feeling you get when traveling through the countryside and small towns of Eastern Washington. It’s as though you’ve gone back in time sixty or seventy years.
Case in point.

A lovely trip back in time Mark. Better to see a swing there than a hangman's noose !!
Very well done picture, you have been able to capture the atmosphere of summer in this image !!
Great capture definitely a blast from the past
What a nice place! I like your composition!
I remember our swing so well!
Love this
WOW!!! When was the last time one of us sat on a backyard swing. It looks like they saved the tree just to accommodate the swing. Impressive!
It really is just like that. Before there were over 7 billion people in the world, there were still places like this in western Washington, too. My grandparents had three swings in a tree in their back yard, and we used to argue over who got the one-rope swing, the tire swing, or the regular swing. The one-rope swing was the most coveted.
You certainly created a wonderful old time atmosphere with this one. The carefree days of childhood seem like only yesterday.
