Watching And Waiting I watch out my window Every night for you to come home. I reminisce nightly about our love, Since you have been gone. I’m just feeling so lonely, Here at my window waiting for you, I know from reading your letters, That you are very lonely too. I stare at that big moon, That shines through clouds in the sky. While I remember your familiar face, With a little tear in my eyes. I long for your tender touch, As my lips still feel your goodbye kiss. I remember that day you left, With an ache in my heart I can’t dismiss. I’ll stand here every night, Watching and waiting at this window.
