Excellent Eye!!
Interesting growth....reminds me of an insect head.
To me it looks like an owl with attitude; what a great find and excellent captures, Harry!
it reminds me of Woody Woo! as if he ran one of his Creations into a Tree hope he sees this!LOL LMAO!
Cool, gives me an idea for Zbrush.
Cool find - a friend & I were just exchanging photos of bizarrely shaped tree trunks yesterday...
HMM Yes, it does look a bit Grumpy, doesnt it? Excellent, clear shots :)
Really amazing find. Bravo !
LOL, angry is a very good adjective... well spotted Harry.
it looks like a tree grimaces;;; nodes resemble owls heads !!! Photo very interesting !!! BRAVO !!!
Yes, it looks like a tree with goggles. And yes, it looks like an ANGRY tree with goggles. That first shot is like a cartoon character, tilting to one side as if looking at someone. And the goggle face is wonderful. The bottom closeup shows wonderful detail, and even two "eyes" (or irises)---if one looks closely. It looks a little like the Grouch character from Sesame Street. (Oscar the Grouch? You think I remember?) The first shot has a scintillating pov, with a sidewalk and those signs in the background, and the other side of the street on the reverse side. Plus that wall makes fine counterpoint to the whole. The second shot is filled with terrific old tree detail...With the new larger image allowances, you'll be able to load even bigger images now, to show off the wonderful detail you get in your shots. (Of course, that assumes that people will want to do TWO ZOOMS! I'll never know why RR did this!) Wonderful tree shots. And a good eye on you to find them, Harry.
(It kills me that we can't edit or add to our comments. Why remove that? What for? Jesus F Christ, what madness!)
