Description
A sea otter at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We actually got to see some sea otters in the wild frolicking in the ocean later that day at Point Lobos, but I couldn't get anywhere near this close. Shooting them at the aquarium was challenging, too, though, as much of the glass was either covered with water drops or steamed over & I had to find just the right spot to get a clear shot. They're fun to watch - both graceful & playfully energetic...

They are incredibly fun to watch and you got a very nice shot in spite of challenging conditions.
Well done!
You have done an amazing job shooting the wildlife at the aquarium. Fun that you got to watch the otters in the wild as well. :)
wow! fascinating capture and outstanding portrait and pose! looks like a scene out of a 3d movie! ;o)
very nice.
Love otters and your photo of this one!!
Superb closeup, and you would be safer in the wild being a bit distant. I heard that someone at Priest Lake, Idaho got bitten by an otter that chased her out of the water to do it!
You otter be proud! this is a great shot
