Your fractals are simply some of the best anywhere. I love how you made this beautiful image; and then it's as if you took a palette knife and cut 'lines' into it. It's like the image is broken up by many mirror reflections, or there are little "time warps" throughout it. But the two worlds here---ie, the beautiful background, and then the beautiful bright plants/animals in front of the background---make a beautiful display. The front plants stand out so beautifully from the background. The background is a piece of swirling drapery, with floral patterns and transparent silks. Then you have that burst of bright yellows and greens, and all those wonderful plant tendrils. Or maybe they're the antennae of some huge crawling creature...Love the purple section in the left side of the creature. This is beautiful Mies. I'm long overdue in your gallery, and each time I sit with your work for a while I'm transported-away by it. A beautiful "ballet" of underwater creatures, with a great "set" behind them. Terrific work.
