Still playing with rendering Carrara hair in Octane Render for Carrara and refining my shaders and materials.

nice hair, i wonder if all those fine lines on the hair gives long rendering times?
Hair in general adds to the render time, but not unduly so. This hair is real geometry strands and not transmapped, although the material has translucency which also adds to the complexity! Worth it for the final result though I feel.
Love the character and, ofcourse, the hair!

Lovely portrait. Hair looks great and the skin has a glow to it. Well done! The irises seem extra large. Is that intentional (cool effect, kind of anime-ish) or an artifact of the refraction of your eye surface material?
Wonderful work on the hair as always. I'll need to make a sacrifice to the same dark gods, as I'm having no luck getting hair to render in Octane at all. 😊
