Description
Thought it would never end, but this is the last in a series of Ford roadsters from that particular year, captured back on 10/19/08, at a car show held in beautiful Santa Anita Park in beautiful Arcadia, California.
This one painted a dignified black.

This is also a very handsome car. Beautiful and shiny. Superb shots too :)
Very elegant in all its shining glory, Harry; you got some truly world-class shots of this beauty. Interesting license plate, makes me wonder what the story is behind it...
UNCREDIBLE transform car !!!
Outstanding.... An Amazing Image,
real nice shots of this wonderful car
Great colour, the deep purple is vastly cool, I approve. Great detailing in the photos mate. Rob
A genuinely eye popping collection of near-abstracts, brimming with sheen, reflection, strong light and deep blacks, and all kinds of formal collisions---a wonderful potpourri. In the 1st shot, for instance, you have that raised half-hood reflecting the grills, in reds and blues and silvers. You have the side grills against a near silver chrome (it's silver even though it's black). You have flare in the headlights, and all kinds of "moire" in the huge high grill. And that red car-reflection is stunning on the car's right side.
In the next shot, you have all this abstract engine detail contrasted with the hood and wheels, etc. And in the 3d shot it's all wheel and connectors and headlight: A big robot made of super shiny chrome and red inner wheel, and a headlight peering out like the eye of a robotic beast. Against the bleached grass, it's stunning.
The final shot is the only one that looks like an actual 'car', lol, I mean without the abstractions and juxtapositions. And it's a beauty, with that characteristically high back, the grills leading into that slit for a window, and the feeling of a hunchbacked toad about to leap away. Your high key light all around it (a very high-key grass) sets off the deep blacks/blues of this car. As do the very clear oranges and reds of the plate, lights, etc. A terrific montage of giddy images: You make these things get up and dance.
