Description
Chorthippus parallelus
It has a leg missing, but it didn't stop him/her clearing off with a might leap!
I think I have the ID right, but I'm open to correction.

Wonderful and perfect capture !!!!!
I don't think anyone is going to argue with you Andrea and I am certainly not going to grass you up !! Good zoom.
Fabulous capture!!!
what big eyes you have
Stunning capture Andrea. God bless.
Marvelous capture!
One jumped in my open window on my shoulder as I was driving today and I'm lucky I didn't have a wreck trying to shoo him out! Nice shot, Andrea.
I remember these from my childhood - trying to capture them Great capture
Animals are so adaptable aren't they. We had a dog in the family years ago that had his leg cut off from playing with a lawn mower. He came home from the vets and never once worried about it again! There was nothing he couldn't do.
Nice capture. I don't think I've seen one in forty years. Animals are more adaptable than we are because it never occurs to them they can't do something.
pretty one
Sounds like he had a lucky escape from something.
Brilliant capture
Klasse shot,excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A really excellent capture Andrea and I liked the comments in here.
He's got his eyes on you, super shot of this fellow!
Wow, this is amazing !
A beautiful photo and it is all good that s/he gets around with only one jumping leg!
Superb macro! I was trying to work out why it looked so unusual! Did it spiral away, leaping with one leg?
Super macro shot, looks like it is posing for you !
