Description
From David Austin's own website
"Here is a variety of unusual colouring for an English Rose - strong salmon-pink that changes with age to a particularly strong shade of pure pink. Deeply cupped flowers gradually develop into an open, slightly cupped rosette.
Benjamin Britten is a useful rose to provide a highlight among the softer shades of most English Roses. It is of medium height; vigorous, with dense growth and excellent foliage. Ideal for the border or may be grown in a large pot or container.
The fragrance is intensely fruity, with aspects of wine and pear drops.
Named to commemorate the life and work of the famous English composer, conductor and performer.
4 ft x 3 ft."

A super rose and capture Andrea.
Beautiful images, intense color, great with water drops. Noticed the name commemorates a British composer when I first saw it. Seems appropriate.
a real beauty
Lovely with all those drops

I looks a beautiful rose I'm amazed how you manage to fit all these plants in your garden
Two wonderful roses. As far as I remember from my time working in a music publisher shop, Benjamin Britten was an English composer.
Both gorgeous shots!
Spectacular photos Andrea. The wonderful colors, lighting and raindrops look amazing. Thanks for sharing the interesting information..
I love the roses with the raindrops.
Lovely rose drop shots! I like the narrow DOF on the deeply pink rose giving a soft glamour to most of the rose.
Amazing capture Andrea. God bless.
A truly sumptuous bloom! A big hitter on all levels complex visually, fragrance wise and powerfully coloured!
Gorgeous captures, love these!
I adore this. What a glorious color and form, and the raindrops are icing on the cake. Lovely!
Both are lovely captures and exquisite colors and raindrops!
