Description
Just back last night from a trip to Monterey with our grandson. We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, of course, as well as Point Lobos, Carmel & Pacific Grove & had a great time. Here he is in Carmel, climbing this twisted old tree (no idea what kind of tree it is)...
Please zoom.

Super portrait, and he must be quite limber to have got up that high without breaking anything!
A great shot for the family album.
Oh to be that fit again!
Great climbing tree.
That tree, kind Sir, is the children's climbing tree; a very hardy species with limbs akimbo, perfect for the active child, in mind and body Wonderful capture
Great capture of your dare devil grandson in the midst of those glorious gnarled tree limbs. Were you shouting at him to get down before he falls with a crackling ominous thud?
What a wonderrful photo. I am sure it was no problem for your grandson to climb up there. That knarly tree was made for climbing. :)
