Wisps and whispers of moisture high up in the atmosphere; what a lovely capture and deep variation!
Beautiful sky and great manipulation !!!
Beautiful wispy clouds, Harry, and I like the difference in colors!
The bottom one is actually really quite nice, I like it.. Good shot. Rob
the original is simple but really complex. A big 'blob' in the upper third, with a lot of wisps all around it. (I assume cirrus clouds. They remind me of that amazing "hair ice" you sent D and I pictures of: That stuff was amazing---I've never seen ice forms like that. It looked like silk strands.) Anyway, the high wispy clouds are like strands of silk, here, with some coagulations to set off the textures. And a nice deep blue. In your variation, you chose a fine color to make strong contrasts: That deep night-purple makes the strands stand out very strongly; and the right side---where it looks like something very big is happening just off-frame---is brought to a height. It's like a big icy breeze coming out of a massive ice machine, or a closeup of a behemoth's breath, in the North Pole. Your variation brings out the details of the original beautifully. More fine sky work from you, Harry.
