Description

Rendered with Iray in DS 4.8. I used a rather complex light set up by turning all of the lights in the model into mesh lights, and adding 2 photometric lights (one as a rim light and one as a primary light). The main figure is a G2F character based on V6, and the little guy is Gruggle Monk by 3D Universe. It took about 2 hours to render on a GTX 970M (slow rendering time due to low lighting). I hope the title is self explanatory - the little guy is wondering if they are "there" yet. This is a beautiful render that helps to tell a story. Everything about it is perfect. I love the attention to detail, including lighting and posing.

This came out great for your "low level" lighting (LOL). I'm doing some even darker images that are causing me some slight headaches. Love the characters and poses.
