Description
On my roof.
I'm pleased with this, from my old TZ3 on full zoom and cropped to the actual pixels. The more advanced TZ25 has developed big blotches which I always have to remove and has become unreliable in focussing too which is worse.
This is unpostworked apart from the crop and I think it shows that sometimes the less facilities a pocket camera has the better!
You can see the wider view

The photo's are so clear of this handsome chap. I agree re the cameras, l have a new one but keep using my old one.
I only have a Fuji Fine PIX 303, over 10 years old, and STILL working perfectly! Hmmm... is this the fellow who dived at me and circled around me on my way to work last week? He looks kind of guilty. Keep up the good work! :-)
This came out great... your pocket camera did a fine job. Hope you can get the other one fixed.
I just point and shoot with a little Sony I got for my birthday. I actually am not even sure where to find the official name of it...maybe a DSC-WX350?? Anyway what I love most about it is that I can carry it with me all the time. It makes this little amateur happy enough. :) I love this fine looking fellow you captured Andrea. Thanks for sharing. :)
wonderfully captured proud bird
A splendid photo Andrea - nice and clear.
Superb capture Andrea. Digital zoom cameras do come in handy. I especially enjoy the digital super zoom cameras which i tested belonging to my nephew. God bless.
Fabulous capture, Andrea! very proud looking gull. Is your new camera still in warranty?
Klasse shot,super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a proud-looking gull. Great shot!
A truly beautiful bird and well captured.
Love that kind of capture !
A great shot and I agree with you sometime they bung in so many features instead of concentrating on those that matter.
So crisp against the grey sky! I am always confused by gull ID even after a lifetime as a birdwatcher. It is the leg colour mostly that give the correct solution. I was excited briefly while away on hols. Until I found out the Mediterranean race of Herring Gulls have yellow legs, so it wasn't a rare bird after all. Why would they do that, are they trying to confuse us?
Marvelous bird and shot !
I have not seen such a snow white gull over here - they are scavengers and will eat anything and everything. The ocean water is not that clean where I grew up.
Superb composition and exposure. It looks so noble. Reminds me of the coast watchers looking for an invasion.
Excellent shot! :o)
Fantastic capture, what a beautiful bird...
Terrific capture, love it!
