Great POV to capture the wonderful geometry of this structure; the colours are very pleasing also!
Fantastic view and capture !!!
Certainly a wonderful place.
Very nice details here... I've always thought pergolas were beautiful structures.
awesome pergola ! great shot !!!
I should probably be more creative, and skip ahead to some more recent pics, but I hope my absences won't be as long in the coming weeks, allowing me to catch up faster. So...picking up where I left off... Whenever you return to a series you let go of for a short while, it's always a sweet reminder of how fine that series was, in the past. Your work with these pergola and arbor structures has been beautiful both formally and aesthetically. This is definitely late morning light---could be dead noon, though it's not, accdg to you---as the light is from overhead, and it's very intense. But the wooden beams break the light up into wonderful colonies, and the light is also filtered through those leaves. Your treatment of the leaves---it's almost graphic, as the light has bleached the leaves to a degree, and it makes this piece look a like a print, which I really like. Very well done. Your angle makes us shift our balance around a bit---I assume the wooden beams are angled, since the trees seem to be straight; but the play of the pergola's angle against the trees makes a wonderful counterpoint of "where's the center of gravity" or "which was is up". Another fine pergola piece from you; and, with all that mid day light, it's still very restful with that beautiful shade pouring in all over the place.
