Perhaps it thought Fritz's nose was another beetle !!!
Good old Fritz, great photo opportunity. x
Excellent capture !
"Hmmm, a new playmate or something to eat?" Showing just the nose was a stroke of genius.
That is a huge one and a super capture & clarity!
They are so huge! Wow!
That one made us laugh.
Delightful capture, Andrea. I do hope that the beetle did not grab hold of Fritz's nose
This one gave me a real chuckle. :)
Fantastic macro shot,great timing !
Oh my!! The first thing I thought was - oh dear, hope he didn't chomped on the nose! I've never seen a real stag beetle. Very cool.
Hello, who are you :D
Even Mrs Stag beetle looks a force to keep away from your nose! excellent shot!
Well spotted Fritz now what are you going to do with it.
Superb capture and love the angle...:)))
If this were Jazz, he'd have eaten it by now, he's terrible, he has knocked over an occasional table before now in his pursuit to eat a spider. Great image.
Most amusing, thanks for the smile!
Hi, there! Wonderful shot!! :o)
Hello to you! I smiled at the title. It seems a big beetle. I wonder if the dog is going to eat it.
