Description
Another shot of the beautiful Tachinid Fly or Feather-Legged Fly (Trichopoda pennipes). You can just see the feathering on the left rear leg. I haven't seen them since that shrub finished blooming, so was lucky to see him that day.
Preview is soft, details better in zoom. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

Wonderful capture Maria. God bless.
The level of detail and crispness in your macros shots is impressive...
Beautiful macro, but I'm getting a sympathetic hay fever attack from all that pollen on his body...

Very nice shot.
Excellent angle employed to capture the dazzling effects of color, contrast, focus, patterns and textures in this shot of the Tachinid Fly, Maria. A real winner. You're so fortunate to have such a large array of esoteric creatures to photograph.
Loved this in zoom - excellent clarity of the wings and pollen all over him/her!!!
