Description
My brother-in-law and best friend Paul not only shares my passion for StarCraft Broodwars, but is also an infatuate of the First Person Shooter (fps) video game genre, an interest I do not share. Nonetheless, when he demo-ed for me one of his favorite fps games, Crysis, I was amazed at the eye candy - amazing set design and wonderfully crafted units. One of the most compelling was the mechanized, alien ground assault unit, the Pinger, shown here blasting away at a poor grunt on the ground.
All models, as usual, are either Wings3d or Bryce5 originals with extensive post work in PSP8. Thanks for takin’ a peek!

Awesome lighting and modeling. It took your description for me to even see the figure. Not sure if it's the non-human anonymity of the helmet, the giant looming pistol or something else, perhaps something with the scale of the helmet to the brick wall...but it looked more like two giant mechs fighting than a human soldier dodging fire from the mech.

Oh I feel sorry for that poor little bugger. Crysis 2 is still sitting unplayed in my Steam inventory. One of these days I'll get to it, lol. I played Starcraft way back when, not the new one though.
