Description
It seems that life had decided to serve me up a seemingly endless stream of tragic loss and domestic turmoil. This render is more a metaphor for my own struggles than the fate awaiting so many of the dearly departed who have recently left this earth, among them dear friends and close family members.
My life seems perched on the precipice between paradise and hell. Each day, I am blessed with life’s bounty, shared by few on this poor, tortured planet of ours. At the same time, challenges, turmoil, and tragic loss punctuate many days of late.

In a way, this is the same for me too... So I completely understand the meaning of your picture. "Nice" idea, and great way to express it.
Is that Saint Peter? Nice work.
Wonderful work. Inventive as well. I like it.
Fantastic image, and beautiful work! I, too, completely understand the meaning of your image.

Oh yeah, I get it!
What a picture! I’d happily hang that up as a poster.
Hang away, Lordi and thanks for the comment.
Such powerful imagery. I'm sorry to hear that it's been due to great losses close to you though. Death is never an easy thing to deal with. I find it is comforting to remember the good times together but it is certainly painful that there aren't going to be more. I hope making this helped ease a bit of the struggle you had to go through.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on life-challenges such as this. Those were some bad years back in the teens.
