Fantastic detail,
Wow, she is a big spider, super shots.

An excellent close up. It does look like a bunch of twigs attached to a medicine ball.
What a beauty, who I bet BITES!
Huge spider, makes my skin crawl, but great capture of it...:))
Yikes, what a shot! Does not look as friendly as a jumping spider. I would have to steel myself to photograph one like that!
Sure looks like a False Widow, Andrea ( Steatoda grossa in this case ) They were first recorded in the UK (Torquay, Devon), back in 1879 and they're still here! I saw one only last week :)
Brilliant, Thankyou so much! Another chap on Flickr thinks the same , so S grossa it is!
also looks like a brown widow https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=brown+widow&view=detailv2&&&id=4FAC5E8CF3EE16DF77DC241BF7613C8D5DC16593&selectedIndex=22&ccid=ij3Znm0k&simid=608053140738999066&thid=JN.wtHHcG1O0P9MaTFZKLaNKQ&ajaxhist=0
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Nice macro it looks a bit like the tick that I had to get out of Freyas eyebrow.
She is fat indeed, and so shiny! Great find!
What a perfect macro shot ! I'm guessing it is more afraid of me than me of it but----sure am happy we don't have these in our area !
Very creepy in a certain way.
Two excellent macros and she looks well fed!
