The indomitable Twilek, Shainna Kailiin earned fame, (and criticism), within the Jedi Order for her less than diplomatic approaches to some situations. Her training, on Tython, tended towards more neutral attitudes regarding the Force, which was in contradiction with the ruling majority "Light Side" Jedi. She maintained her position within the Jedi Order, despite walking "the Grey Line", and was considered a promising bridge between the Light Side Jedi and their less disciplined - but still positive minded - Grey Jedi bretheren, until she eloped with her lover, Archiban Kimble*, in direct contradiction to the Jedi Code. She was expelled from the Jedi Order and forced to continue her training and exploration of the Force within the Grey Jedi circles. In a strange twist of circumstance, her expulsion made her the perfect candidate for a diplomatic mission to Valkyr - a planet where prowess in combat is as important as the subtleties of diplomacy.
