Description
"Cast not a clout till May be out"
A traditional English saying.
There is always a discussion about whether this means when the Hawthorn actually flowers, or when the month finishes and turns to June.
In the UK it could be either! I am still wearing a mohair pullover and 4 layers some days, and yet spent several April afternoons in shorts and T shirt!
BTW I never noticed this pink pollen before on the May flowers.

Odd one out. Well spotted and photographed Andrea. God bless.

Very unusual Andrea and maybe worth sending the pic to Kew !!
