Description
There are many statues of lions in Arles - they are a symbol of the city which I believe is related to it's days under Roman rule. These two lions (& a glimpse of a third one) are part of a group of four that guard the base of a large obelisk in the middle of the city. I replaced the bland sky with a sunset (which I took a couple of days later) to add some drama...

Beautiful.
Wonderful scene!!!
Incredibly nice photograph....
impressive and fantastic capture of the sculptures which look fascinating against the sky and could be a scene out of a historical movie! ;o)
Exquisite lion statue... wonderful architecture.
Very impressive capture of sculptures and amazing architecture in the background. This beautiful site looks awesome against the gorgeous sunset you created.
Your postwork is excellent; what a lovely scene, and I would love to have those lions myself!
Excellent work - I think the lions sometimes travel to NYC for reading material.
A very powerful capture and I was enjoying the applicable sky and still was impressed when I read that you had adjusted the sky!
