Yesterday on the radio I listened to "Brain Damage," "one of the pieces of Pink Floyd that I loved most. I have dwelt on a phrase that has always fascinated me much: There's someone in my head but it's not me. The first thing I came to mind is an image like the one just posted.

P Floyd is my fav band. and Dark Side of the Moon a top lp for me also. great interpetation of the tune.
The mind is sometimes captured and caged by society... fortunately, there is 'expression in art' (which you accomplish very well), which helps to soothe the savage beast. From a movie not so long ago "....some birds were never meant to be caged ? (Shawshank Redemption)
