Very nice!
Excelent ... very great shots my friend !!!
Very Knotty Images!!!
Fascinating patterns here, especially in the bottom closeup; nature's designs were the first and remain the best! Excellent captures!!
Beautiful wood grain. Excellent shot with fantastic details.
excellent textures once more time !!!
Another scintillating capture of these beautiful cascading patterns. I'm always amazed at the variety you get in this series. The first has less color than the second, but the age-lines droop down beautifully like a lava spill. And the knots are the climactic points in every case. I like the more bleached, less reddish hue, it allows us to experience the patterns more fully. The second one has much more red and yellow in it, and is more dramatic, with that big atoll in the middle (the knot) and the separate plank to the left. One can get lost in these patterns, and forget that they're neighbors with other planks, with completely different sets of patterns. The one on the left looks dark and brooding, and I wonder if he's not irritating the hell out of the main plank. (Like the main one would say, "between you and me, I wish that guy would move the hell away...") More fine closeup work from you, Harry. No one's doing these subject like you are.
