Description
As you can probably tell, Alioto is a big name in San Francisco. I don't know the family's history, but Joe was mayor years back. And yeah, they have restaurants!! This is Fisherman's Wharf.

Very well taken !!!
An iconic landmark.
Flashback! I have actually dine in that very restaurant back about 27 years ago.
An excellent postcard shot!
A highly lit but deep dark facade shot, with very strong contrasts between both. I dont know how you got that rich shadow, but it sets off the lights very strongly. It almost looks like a strip in a gambling town (like old vegas or reno, before the massive hotels---or maybe like the side streets). The fish in the lower center really anchors the shot, as does the "Light House" sign and the lit exterior under "Fishermen's Grotto". Lots of dark above that. And then a blast of light sky. Real contrasts...And the sign on the far left kind of takes us into the shot, by its angle. Very creatively seen. I'd have never thought about these contrasts, but they make it seem like a night shot taken in the day, very dramatic. Hope you have more from this great city---your shots of it have been wonderful.
