Description
It is very tricky getting pictures of tiny fast moving objects with a point and shoot camera, so I was pleased with this although it is not absolutely sharp.
I love the way they fly legs akimbo.
Bombylius major in my garden, where I have many Primroses that keep these little people happy.

Indeed it's such a cute sight, just as if the legs can fall of, and it's a lovely capture, Andrea. btw, you are right, I now see an owl also in my last fractal. ;-)
This is a lovely capture, well done with the camera used and being sharp enough to spot it and capture it in that split-second moment.

This is a super capture Andrea and I wonder what it's making a bee-line for !!
Very impressive capture. Bravo.
Pretty hard with a professional sports camera, maybe 1 in 7 sharp, and that's if you really know what you are doing, so I think you should be very proud of this :) Never get tired of Jeff's superb humour.... Like my favourite crisp flavour!
Outstanding capture under the circumstances.
Marvelous captures!
got it sharp . good shot
Its tricky with ANY camera! Well done.
He he just like a plane that hides its wheels. The only difference is that the beefly's legs is hidden at its side. Wonderful in flight capture Andrea. God bless.

Superbly captured Andrea! :)
Wow, they are fast! Bravo Andrea!!
Well done,Andrea :-)
They do seem a bit gawky, in an adolescent-in-a-growth-spurt kind of way. You got some great shots!
Very impressive camera work, you have captured a very amazing action shot, of this fellow in flight.
Great photo ,not the easiest of things to get sharp.
Fantastic capture and their legs are all over the place.
