Description
Yesterday I made a bike ride through the fields behind Heidelberg. On the way I passed through Ladenburg, a small town, which is about 10 kilometers away. There are many buildings from the Middle Ages. On the right side is a pretty old pub which is named "Kartoffel" (potato).

Looks like a charming old village. That bright pink sign is the only thing that doesn't look like it fits into the historical setting...

Not sure they serve potato beer, the pub was closed when I was there. I will have a look at the drink menu when I go back there again

This scene reminds me of a friends house I stayed in when in Boppard. From memory I think it was a couple of hours North of where you are. I loved Heidelberg and especially the castle. I also am remembered around here for falling in the Neckar! BRRRRRRRRR!
