Description
Captured back in 8/07, just a small part of a long parade commemorating the 50th birthday anniversary of our semi fair city. The parade was most diverse in character representations.
Have a nice day.

Fantastic scene and peoples... Wonderfully captured !!!
That is one cool big blowup! It almost looks like the people are running ahead to get away from it...wonderful shot!
Very neat parade eagle!
Very COOL Capture!!!
splendid ! a beautiful idea of inflatable balloon, rather encountered by the sea ... because those who take orders must jog, driven by the mobile and the wind !!!
wow that a big one. cool shot
Yep, that's certainly on the big side.. Cool shot and very noticeable lol Rob
(I'm happy to say, I've done quite a few of these, going backwards. But at least I want to comment back to April 1st, this week.) You've got the big eagle well placed in the shot; and by cutting off the people at their ankles, you bring home how small they are compared to this beast. Also, it's fascinating perspective: You're shooting on a diagonal, but the people appear to be in a straight line, flush with US: Good pov, Harry! Very effective. That is, the bird, street and buildings are angled, but the people appear lined-up with us (which I assume they're not). And of course, the sight of all those ropes holding the eagle in place is positively bizarre---because the eagle is gigantic! It's a shot filled with visual plays (like word plays, only visual), a lot of fun, and technically and visually very well composed and lit. I could say, "I knew eagles were big, but..." but I'll spare you the dumb jokes. An impressive float nevertheless.
