How green was my valley.
Captured 4/5/12, at the semi beautiful El Dorado Nature Center in beautiful Long Beach, California.
There was enough of a breeze at that time to ripple the water, making the reflections look pixelated.

Wow, it could almost be Green Lake, with all that lush vegetations around; excellent shot, capturing those elegant ripples on the satiny surface of the water!

It's been strange to see lake shots in your gallery of late, because of the drought. I wonder how people maintain these or keep the water fresh, etc. It's a beautiful image, with the water below and the trees above touching almost at center, and with those ripples providing a very subtle pulse for the sheet of glass of that lake...And a big profusion of green above and below---it's a lush green image. I also like how that bridge picks up the lines of the long felled tree. This is beautiful. Wonderful clarity in the reflections, and in the non-green growths that grace the shot throughout...
